Matru Education Society (MES) – is inspired by Sri Aurobindo’s mission & Mother’s noble thoughts on Education for promoting a complete advancement of mankind, leading to successful and responsible living.
“The most precious gift children can be bestowed upon is Education.” Inspired by this, Matru Vidyalaya (English Medium School) was founded in the year 2002, with a social cause to provide excellent education, promote knowledge; nurture human values and inculcate the fine Indian culture in theyoung children.Matru Vidyalaya is a well established and renowned English Medium School in Walhekarwadi, Chinchwad and actually a dream realized by Mrs. Lalitha Sainath and Mrs. Sheela Swaminathan.

Syllabus:

The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the Department of Education, Maharashtra state for all classes from Standard I to Standard X. The school follows the policies of the Maharashtra Education Department.

The school works in two sections :

  • Primary section comprising Std. I to Std. VIII
  • Secondary section comprising Std. VIII, Std. IX & Std X.

Admissions :

Admissions for the classes start in the month of December (for the following Academic Year commencing from June).
A Submission of the following is mandatory for admission to Primary and Secondary levels :
i. Original birth-certificate.
ii. Transfer certificate issued by previous school.
iii. Two photographs of ward, Adhar card

  • Fun-filled and joyful environment is provided to all the students. Individual attention is given to improve their all round development.
  • Students are evaluated according to the activities, projects, assignments, daily performance etc.
  • Students’ Talents are brought to the fore through healthy competitions.
  • Basics of Computer Education and elements of IT are taught to students from Std. I to X
  • Students are trained to appear for competitive Govemment Scholarship and Government Drawing examinations.
